I picked up the ATTACK SHARK Carbon Fibre R68 HE & R5 Ultra Gaming Keyboard and Mouse Combo, and using them together has honestly been one of the best budget gaming upgrades I’ve made. The R68 HE still blows me away with how fast and responsive the Hall Effect switches feel, especially in games like Valorant and CS2 where rapid trigger really matters. The clicky sound is super satisfying, the “ice cube” keycaps look amazing with the bright RGB, and the board has enough weight that it doesn’t slide around during intense matches. Once I got the browser‑based software sorted, customising lighting and key functions was easy, and the whole thing just feels solid and fun to use.Pairing it with the R5 Ultra mouse really completes the setup. The mouse is insanely light at just 39 grams, and you can feel the difference immediately - flicks and micro‑adjustments take almost no effort. The PAW3950 Max sensor tracks beautifully, and the 8000 Hz polling rate keeps everything feeling snappy and precise. I love that it supports USB, 2.4 GHz wireless, and Bluetooth, and the fact that I can keep using it while it charges is a huge plus. Battery life has been great, and the ambidextrous shape feels natural even in long sessions. It doesn’t have onboard profiles or adjustable weights, but for the price and performance, I can’t complain.Using the R68 HE and R5 Ultra together feels like running a premium setup without paying premium prices - fast, lightweight, responsive, and genuinely enjoyable for both gaming and everyday use. This gaming combo from Attack Shark is definitely one of the prettiest I've tested. The R68HE keyboard looks gorgeous with this white/tan digital camo pattern (difficult to photograph) and aluminum side cage. It's thick, heavy, and built like a tank. Keys make that incredibly "thock" sound and the RGB glows through the keys' partial translucent sides.That said, its use is limited aside from gaming. That's because it lacks dedicated function keys and other keys like insert, home, end, prtsc. Keys you don't realize how much you use them until they are gone. And even more unfortunate is the missing volume dial or labelled shortcuts to change it. So treat it more like a game controller than an actual productivity tool to avoid frustration.The R5 Ultra mouse is equally impressive mainly due its open carbon fiber frame that prevents your hands from sweating. The palm grip shape is perfect for me. I like how it can be used wired or wireless. However, the included cable is thick and stiff so it is best to use it for charging only. It features 100-million click Omron (mechanical?) switches that feel satisfyingly tactile. Actuation force of the left and right buttons seem average. Subjectively, I think it requires slightly more than a Logitech G502. It's also about as loud.Performance-wise, it features a Nordic 52840 MCU and a PixArt PAW3950MAX 42k Sensor that tracks incredibly smoothly and accurately. Certainly no issues at all on any FPS title and the mouse in 2.4GHz wireless mode felt as good as wired - not a hint of lag. I think this is because the USB dongle can be placed close to the mouse thanks to the inclusion of a long USB extension cable. As a result, there's far less signal issues. The mouse can be set from 125Hz all the way to 8000Hz.Unfortunately, battery life is lacking compared to other mice. Through testing, the receiver starts blinking red before the 2 week mark to indicate low charge state. I wanna say 9 to 10 day is about the average for this mouse. For comparison, the Rapoo VT7 lasts over 1 month at the same 1000Hz!Another let down here is the Attack Shark app, which is different per product. Looking at the history of their peripherals, it seems like they create a driver/software package per launch of the different models and then abandon immediately it after. So it is UN-likely anything in this kit will receive any further support beyond the current drivers. Why they don't make a unified one is beyond me. The software also looks like an after thought with limited and some times broken features. For example, the macro page is laughable at best.As such, I'd only recommend if you don't plan on using or needing any customization features and are ok with what the hardware is natively preset to.

I am a casual gamer. Or even a closeted one, as this is an aspect of me that most family and friends are not aware of. I like a keyboard and mouse combo that will support both sides of my lifestyle, i.e. the employee who is often typing up legal briefs as well as the occasional gamer who indulges in PC games when work is over and done with. When this “Attack Shark Fiber R68 HE & 5 Ultra Gaming Keyboard and Mouse Combo, I was eager to give it a run.Make no mistake, this package contains two distinct items, each in its own box: a keyboard and a mouse. Since I ordered the white variant, both the mouse and keyboard are white.First, the mouse. It is made of actual carbon fiber, not imitation prints as are too often seen where consumer products are concerned. The main qualities of carbon fiber is that it is extremely lightweight, yet very hard. These qualities are immediately apparent with the mouse. It is extremely lightweight, yet feels quite sturdy. Its lightweight property becomes a boon after long gaming sessions, when the hand is fatigued and thereby weaker. This mouse has all of the buttons that all conventional mice have - including a right click button, a left click button and a scroll wheel - but also includes two side buttons which in normal, non-gaming operation can forward or revert (go back) on a web browser. It does not have programmable keys, as some gaming mice have.On my white variant, the scroll wheel and side buttons are black. The mouse features a host of triangular perforations that adds quite a bit of artistic flair. The controls for the mouse are underneath it. The mouse comes with grip tape for the and right button and the sides. It has four feet at the bottom, with replacements in the packet. Stickers are included in the package for wherever the owner would like to place them. The mouse has three ways of connecting to a laptop or computer: 1) Via Bluetooth, 2) Via its (wired) dongle, and; 3) Via USB-C. To operate the mouse, I moved a button underneath it from the central position towards the Bluetooth symbol. I then clicked on “Add a Bluetooth device” on my Lenovo Windows laptop. It immediately found the “R5” mouse and connected.I will not bother delving into actual numbers, but I tried it out with a couple of games, and it was fast, with no noticeable latency. The scroll wheel is noticeably tactile. While the Bluetooth connection is my preferred means of connecting to the mouse, I also tried the mouse out with the very unusual dongle that accompanied the package. This is the only dongle I have ever seen which actually connects to the mouse via a USB-C cable. Usually, the dongle would not need a cable, but would actually have the USB-C connector directly in its chassis. It worked flawlessly, and I did not notice any difference between the two methods of connection. One note: I have yet to run out of battery, but the manufacturer states that the battery capacity is at 230 mAh. This is definitely on the small side. Most of my other wireless mice are in the 500 mAh range.Second, the keyboard. The lightness of the mouse is only paralleled by the heft of the keyboard. Although the weight of the keyboard is also a contributing factor to how sturdy it feels. This keyboard is not the length of a full-sized keyboard; it is noticeably shorter, and is best described as “compact.” A common feature of gaming laptops is that they are quite literally “lit” and this one is no different. The keyboard has no switch. Once I connected the keyboard to the USB port of my Lenovo laptop, it became awash in a bevy of colors, notably light blue, purple, green, etc. The manner by which the colors interacted with the white keyboard - while not bad - made me wish I had gone with the black color instead. The play of colors in a white background was a bit more bedazzling than I had contemplated.Most gaming keyboards feature keys which have quite a bit of travel, and this one is no different. The “clacking” sound as each key is pressed is noticeable, as a result. Each key feels isolated and solid. The keyboard has only one switch, and it positioned in the back. It allows the user to switch between “Mac” and “Windows.” The versatility of the keyboard is much appreciated. It comes with the most unusual USB-C cable I have ever seen. They are actually two separate parts which must be screwed together. One end of the USB-C cable coils around like the wire of a landline telephone. The keyboard have four permanently affixed rubber feet that prevent scratches and nicks to the keyboard as it is dragged along the surface of a desk, and whatnot.The one feature I wish that the keyboard had was the ability to connect to a computer via Bluetooth, as the mouse does. Wireless connections are the height of convenience, and go a long way in ensuring an uncluttered desk. While wired keyboards supposedly cut down on latency, I have never felt that the sacrifice was worth it. Two things to get used to, with this keyboard: 1) The alphan...

I've been using this for a few days now and it's honestly sensational - my new favourite keyboard and mouse combo by far.First up, the good stuff (and there's a lot to like here). It's really, REALLY solidly built, and the weight and sheer density of the keyboard mean that it provides a great platform for the switches. Whoever put this together made a great decision pairing these creamy switches in there because it sounds SENSATIONAL and feels incredibly satisfying to use. Sometimes you find a keyboard that is a pleasure to use and this is definitely one of them.Although I'm not a big RGB fan you get a great range of RGB lighting options here. There are a few patterns that are definitely out there but also plenty more that are pleasant and fun. The side bars also light up which adds another subtle highlight.The mouse that's paired with this keyboard is a totally different story aesthetically and weight-wise. It's the polar opposite in that it's feather light by design and a pleasure to use. I'm too old for 8k polling but there are plenty of other useful polling rates which will suit depending on your usageThe overall vibe of the keyboard is very in-your-face and you'll know pretty fast if it's for you or not. Although its not an aesthetic that I'd usually chase I really like it as done here, the frosted keys are like a frosty window on a winter's morning and really help to make the most of the RGB lightshow.There are a couple of minor downsides - first up, the Bluetooth receiver. I couldn't really work out how to use this and as the mouse connected to my PC just fine anyway it seemed a bit redundant. This leads into the second big issue, the instructions. These have the bare minimum of information and don't cover things like the receiver. Even on the website there's not a lot more about how to set it up or to get the different software that's available working. It's not impossible to work through but it seems like a minor mistep in an otherwise great package.Overall, I can't recommend this package enough. Whether you're a gamer or work in an office this is going to make your day to day computer use feel a lot more pleasurable.

Not the fastest, but still an acceptable delivery experience.I already owned an R68 HE black translucent carbon fiber keyboard, but this is the first time I’ve come across an ATTACK SHARK bundle like this, and honestly, it’s a great idea to pair these two together.The R68 HE keyboard continues to impress me. It features a compact 65% layout with 68 keys, which keeps your desk clean while still retaining essential functionality. The forged carbon fiber composite construction feels solid and premium, with added CNC aluminum accents for durability. The translucent carbon fiber combined with RGB lighting looks absolutely sick, easily one of the most unique designs out there.Performance-wise, this keyboard is built for serious gaming. It uses magnetic switches with adjustable actuation and extremely fine 0.005mm precision, paired with an 8KHz polling rate and ultra-low latency around 0.08ms. It also includes a 6-layer sound dampening system that gives it a clean, satisfying sound profile instead of the usual hollow feel.My only real complaint is the lack of a volume knob and dedicated function row. Adding those would make it slightly larger, but in my opinion, it would be a worthwhile tradeoff.The R5 Ultra mouse is just as impressive. At only 45.1g (not the advertised 39g - but close), it’s the lightest mouse I currently own, and it immediately stands out because of that. Despite the ultralight design, it still feels solid thanks to the carbon fiber construction. It’s very comfortable and grippy, making it great for long gaming sessions.Under the hood, it’s equipped with a top-tier PixArt PAW3950 MAX sensor, capable of up to 42,000 DPI, 750 IPS tracking speed, and 50G acceleration. It also supports an 8KHz polling rate, which makes movement feel incredibly responsive, especially on high refresh rate displays. The tri-mode connectivity (2.4GHz, Bluetooth, and USB-C wired) adds flexibility, and the Nordic 52840 chip ensures stable wireless performance and good efficiency from the 230mAh battery.Overall, this combo delivers both performance and uniqueness. You’re getting a high-end magnetic switch keyboard and an ultra-light esports-grade mouse in one package, which is not something you see often at this price point.I would definitely recommend this keyboard and mouse combo to fellow Amazon gaming shoppers. Both the keyboard and mouse are super light but feel rigid and solid. The mouse is super light yet doesn't feel flimsy at all, perfectly solid construction - squeezing it doesn't make it creak or anything. Same deal with the keyboard , the carbon fiber frame keeps it light without feeling cheap.The keyboard flexes a tiny bit more than the mouse but that's just because the carbon panels are longer and experience more force. It doesn't creak at all though. Build quality on both is way better than my old Razer Huntsman Mini. The switches feel good, though they're a bit lighter than I personally prefer since I type pretty heavy. My girlfriend tried them and likes them though, so it's more of a preference thing. If you like standard switches you'll be happy with them.Both pieces feel very high quality. The mouse tracking is smooth and responsive, and the keyboard has good RGB options. Worth the price for a premium setup. Really impressed with the build quality overall.
