This kit is awesome. It comes with everything you need and each piece is solid.Thr keyboard is great. I love the carbon fiber frame and look. The RGB effects look great and the type size is nice and big so you can see exactly what keys you're using.The keyboard frame is super solid. No flexing and the non slip base keeps it stuck without sliding around. As a nice touch, the included breakaway style cable has RGB effects on the ends. The cable has plenty of length and fits nicely with the board.The magnetic key caps are great to type on. They're quiet and they feel great. Gaming with this board also feels nice and crisp. It is a 68%, so if you're looking for more inputs or have only used a 96/98/100 style boards it may take a little adjustment.The mouse is super light. The plastic on it feels great in my hand and it has a bit of a grip to it which I love. It's a bit hard to describe but it's just a bit of texture. The DPI adjustment feels good and it was easy to find a comfortable setting for regular use and gaming.Set up on everything was super easy. I prefer this kit to many of the mechanical sets I have. I like the mouse as much as my Razer Viper I currently use.For cons, I wish the mouse had a dock to charge with. The documentation is a bit limited compared to some of the other big brands. Both of these are super minor and I'd easily buy this kit its worth every penny.

This gaming combo from Attack Shark has to be one of the nicest I've tested. The R68HE keyboard looks absolutely incredible with this digital camo pattern and aluminum side cage. It is the literal embodiment of a "keyboard warrior" - as in a warrior partaking in some FPS like COD using this keyboard lol. It's thick and built like a tank. Keys make that incredibly "thock" sound and the RGB glows through the keys partial translucent sides. I also love that USB-C cable they bundle with it. It is way more robust than the one in the box and matches its military vibe.That said, its use is limited aside from gaming. That's because it lacks dedicated function keys and other keys like insert, home, end, prtsc. Keys you don't realize how much you use them until they are gone. And even more unfortunate is the missing volume dial or labelled shortcuts to change it. So treat it more like a game controller than an actual productivity tool to avoid frustration.The R11 Ultra is equally impressive mainly due to its carbon fiber exterior. It feels rough and gritty, I never lose grip even if my hands sweat like a waterfall. The palm grip shape is perfect for me, I wouldn't have it any other way. I like how it can be used wired or wireless. However, the included cable is thick and stiff so it is best to use it for charging only. It features 70-million click optical switches that sound metallic and feel satisfyingly tactile. Actuation force of the left and right buttons seem average. Subjectively, I think it requires slightly more than a Logitech G502. It's also about as loud.Performance-wise, it features a Nordic 52840 MCU and a PixArt PAW3950MAX 42k Sensor that tracks incredibly smoothly and accurately. Certainly no issues at all on any FPS title and the mouse in 2.4GHz wireless mode felt as good as wired - not a hint of lag. I think this is because the USB dongle can be placed close to the mouse thanks to the inclusion of a long USB extension cable. As a result, there's far less signal issues. The mouse can be set from 125Hz all the way to 8000Hz.Unfortunately, battery life is lacking compared to other mice. Through testing, the receiver starts blinking red before the 2 week mark to indicate low charge state. I wanna say 9 to 10 day is about the average for this mouse. For comparison, the Rapoo VT7 lasts over 1 month at the same 1000Hz!Another let down here is the Attack Shark app, which is different per product. Looking at the history of their peripherals, it seems like they create a driver/software package per launch of the different models and then abandon immediately it after. So it is UN-likely anything in this kit will receive any further support beyond the current drivers. Why they don't make a unified one is beyond me.What's worse is that the software is half baked with limited and broken features. Receiver LED color doesn't change based on the report rate (which is supposedly the default option). Even if I set it to 8k, it's still stuck on orange/amber. Switching it to show Battery Level results in no lights! Macro page feels cryptic and not easy to configure. Beyond basic DPI, polling rate and generic button mapping, there's no other configurable settings (e.g. debounce, lift off distance) that are available on other gaming mice at this level.As such, I'd only recommend if you don't plan on using or needing any customization features and are ok with what the hardware is natively preset to.

Given that the mouse typically sells for around $70-80 and the Keyboard is similarly priced around $70-80, this is a pretty sweet deal. The R11 Ultra is a great, light gaming mouse that has been a blast to use. I measure it in at around 50g. The texture on the mouse is slightly grippy. It's a little rougher than the typical smooth or matte plastic finishes you find on most mice. I don't think you'll need grip tape here!The keyboard itself is solid. It's a bit louder and doesn't have a deep creamy thock, but it's still satisfying to type on. The switches are pretty light to the touch, and very sensitive, as you would expect from a Hall Effect keyboard. I found it was a bit too easy to hit keys by accident though. For productivity work, I prefer a traditional mechanical keyboard. Or maybe I just need to spend more time playing with tuning the actuation points on the R68HE. As a gaming keyboard, it's outstanding! The benefits of Hall Effect really shine through during gaming, and it makes it easy to rapidly spam buttons and key presses. I love it. As you can see from the video, I'm comparing this against another Attack Shark keyboard - the X66, which is a mechanical linear keyboard that's a little more muted and frankly, slightly more satisfying to use. I also love the volume knob on the X66, and miss it on the R68HE. I also appreciate that this keyboard has QMK, and the web driver (QMK.top) works well with it.The keycaps on the R68HE are solid, but basic. They're well made, double-shot PBT, but if you want a deeper thock, try for SA, ASA, MDA, XDA or MOA profiles, which I've really come to prefer.Overall, while the keyboard and mouse have some minor shortcomings, I can overlook them all because of just how much value this combo brings to the table. If you're looking for a cheap entry point into HE while still getting a solid keyboard and a great mouse, give this combo a try - it's outstanding.

I really like this HE keyboard and it's saying a lot because I've tried many of them and I just couldn't get around to liking any of them until now. This attack shark r68 looks so sleek with black ink translucent keycaps and clear magnetic switches so that there is barely any RGB dampening. Coupled with the huano glass jade magnetic switches and it's lower pitched thocky sound it types and sounds way better than many others....even the gaterons. All the ones I've tried before had an annoying high pitched clack on aluminum plate. This one is the only acoustically acceptable one. I cannot comment on the 8000hz since I'm limited to my usb c cables nor can I feel a 0.005mm RT accuracy with my fingers. However, after using this R68HE Attack Shark and going back to my usual Epomaker linear switches it did take a bit more effort in typing with the longer travel compared to the HE switches.This keyboard pairs so well visually with the R11 Ultra mouse also in blank ink. The mouse is light with an adjustable DPI that goes higher than you would ever need. I have this set up with an Attack Shark glass mouse pad and the speed of which cannot be beat without spending hundreds more dollars for brand name and less acoustically acceptable products. There is a little bit of ping on the R11 that I dislike though. There is little tactility on the scroll wheel and luckily there is minimal sound from it. Overall the mouse is super light and it's small enough for me to palm hold but I have small hands. I find myself claw holding this R11 more often. When gaming I'm not palm holding anything anyway so that's not a gripe, just an observation.Unfortunately this setup can't be my main setup because a 65% is just too small for my daily purposes and the pinging on the left click button from the R11 would annoy me after a while. I wish there was a 65% with a side scroll knob. Now that would be perfect. I can do away with the numpad and the F row but I miss the volume knob. Please do a 65% with side scrolling knob!! No screens necessary.Comes with a nice coiled cable to complete the look.

The board and key caps have an interesting texture akin to carbon fiber that was satisfying to the touch in use. The switches are Huano and they have a massively wide box on the stem, zero wobble. The lights aren't quite as brilliant here on the translucent key caps as they were on the white/clear version, but the sound is still not offensive at all. The space bar does not rattle much, maybe a touch more than on my other unit. The typing and gaming experience is great. The small metal end pieces are a nice touch. I have almost no complaints, and this is a great value board.R11 Ultra:Clicks: Crisp Omron optical switches that are lightweight, tactile, and spammable. One of the best implementations I've used and that's saying something.Scroll Wheel: Pretty good, not too heavy in click or scroll. Pass.Side Buttons: Love the design and tactility. Not too stiff and don't sink into the shell too much.Skates: Two sets, one thick black PTFE, one thinner and faster gray PTFE. Both good sets though.Build Quality: Solid with minimal flex.Coating and Texture: Not great. It feels exactly like it looks and this is the worse of their two options. I also wish there was another color way. It's not grippy, more slippery and generally unpleasant to touch. Ouch.Performance: Fine when it's the only mouse. Bad wireless interference issues that were very apparent very quickly.Shape: ROG Harpe II Ace esque, very much a larger shape that I found to have too much hump presence for how long it was.Overall it's actually a very well implemented mouse.
