I selected a bamboo wrist rest as the wooden one I wanted was out of stock in the width I needed. I did not want a plastic or "padded" rest. My only complaints are that the company name is literally engraved in the wood, meaning you can't comfortably rest your wrist over it. Fortunately it doesn't block the main part of the keyboard, but you would assume the two longer notches are for where you rest your arms... this means the shorter notch ends up being where you actually rest your arm for standard typing. I would prefer a completely smooth bamboo surface on top, this branding mildly impacts the comfort of its function. Since it's lightly tapered and has no-slip legs on the bottom, you can't flip it to avoid this problem. The no-slip legs aren't that secure but I haven't had any problem with it falling off my desk, and if you do you could always add more grip strips. I find it aesthetically pleasing. It is the right height and width for my homemade mechanical keyboard abomination and will pair well with most mechanical keyboard cases with a full number pad. When it is hot, it does not stick to my wrist, so I think the bamboo material is excellent. I prefer it to the touch over plastic.

Great wrist rest for the money

Very simple rest that does exactly what you need it to. I find it to be the perfect height to pair with my Keychron K2 Pro.
