FAQ

What is a gaming keyboard?

A gaming keyboard is a specialized keyboard designed for enhanced performance in video games. They often feature mechanical switches for faster and more precise keystrokes, customizable RGB lighting, programmable macro keys, and other features tailored for gamers.

How much does a gaming keyboard cost?

The price of a gaming keyboard can vary depending on features, brand, and switch type. ATTACK SHARK offers a range of options to suit different budgets, from affordable entry-level models to premium high-end keyboards.

What are the different types of gaming keyboards?

Gaming keyboards primarily differ in their switch type (mechanical, membrane, optical), size (full-size, TKL, 60%), and connectivity (wired, wireless). ATTACK SHARK specializes in mechanical keyboards, offering both wired and wireless options in various sizes.

Can gaming keyboards be used as regular keyboards?

Yes, gaming keyboards can absolutely be used for everyday typing. In fact, many people prefer the feel and responsiveness of mechanical keyboards for all their typing needs.

What are the different sizes of gaming keyboards?

Gaming keyboards come in various sizes, including full-size (with a number pad), tenkeyless (TKL, without a number pad), 75%, 60%, and even smaller.

What factors should you consider when buying a gaming keyboard?

Several factors should be considered when choosing a gaming keyboard:
Switch Type: Different switches offer varying levels of tactile feedback, actuation force, and noise. Consider whether you prefer linear, tactile, or clicky switches.
Size and Layout: Choose a size that fits your desk space and playstyle. Consider whether you need a number pad or prefer a more compact layout.
Connectivity: Decide between wired and wireless connectivity based on your preference and setup.
Features: Consider features like RGB lighting, programmable macro keys, media controls, and dedicated software.
Budget: Set a budget and find a keyboard that offers the best value for your money.

What is the keyboard layout?

Our keyboards are all QWERTY layout, ANSI US layout. There is no German layout, French layout, Italian layout, Spanish layout, Nordic layout, Turkish layout, etc.

Is the keyboard hot-swappable?

Our keyboards are all hot-swappable, all compatible with 3pin switches, and most keyboards are compatible with 3/5pin switches. Please check the detailed parameters of the keyboard.

Where can I download the driver software for the keyboard?

You can download the driver from our official website, URL: https://attackshark.com/pages/driver-download.
Enter the model into the search bar, and then click on the one you want to download the driver and the manual.

What should I do if the keyboard keys are delayed or the keys do not work?

Please use a key puller to pull out the keycaps/switches and clean them, or replace with new switches. If it still cannot be solved, please feel free to contact us.

What switches are on the keyboard?

The switches of different keyboards are different. Most of our keyboards are pre-lubricated linear switches, which are quiet and comfortable switches. Our keyboard is equipped with 5 layers of silencer cotton, which will provide you with a comfortable switch sound and an unparalleled typing experience.

How to solve the problem that the 2.4G wireless receiver of the keyboard does not work?

Please change to another USB port, or change to another computer device to test. And please check the USB settings and driver updates of the computer. If it still cannot be solved, please feel free to contact us.

Why can't I type special characters?

This may be because the keyboard is QWERTY layout. When you use the German/Italian/French/Spanish/Swedish language input method, the keyboard key function will automatically be recognized as the key function of the corresponding language layout. This leads to inconsistency between key characters and functions. Please familiarize yourself with the character position of the keyboard layout of your local language.
