How to use the CPS Test?

Step 1: Select Time Mode
Click the buttons above to choose your challenge duration (1s burst, 5s standard, 10s endurance, etc.). Different durations test different muscle burst and stamina.

Step 2: Start Clicking
Move your cursor into the dashed rectangular area in the center. Take a deep breath. The timer starts immediately upon your first click.

Step 3: Check Your Rank
When the countdown ends, the system automatically stops recording and displays your results. You will see your Clicks Per Second (CPS), total clicks, and your gaming rank.

Pro Clicking Tips

Jitter Clicking

Uses rapid vibration of arm muscles to generate extremely fast click speeds. Requires practice to aim steadily. Common in Minecraft PvP.

Butterfly Clicking

Uses index and middle fingers to click alternately on the left mouse button. If your mouse supports Double Click, you can easily reach 15-20 CPS.

Drag Clicking

Uses friction between your finger and the mouse button surface to generate multiple micro-clicks while dragging. Usually requires specific mouse textures (like matte) to work.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a CPS Test?
CPS stands for Clicks Per Second. It is a metric used to measure how fast you can click a mouse button in a one-second timeframe. This test is popular among gamers to evaluate their reaction time and finger speed.
What is a good CPS score?
The average human clicking speed is about 6 to 7 CPS. Professional gamers often achieve 10 to 12 CPS. Anything above 12 CPS usually requires specialized techniques like jitter or butterfly clicking.
Is Jitter Clicking safe?
Jitter clicking involves vibrating your arm muscles, which can strain your arm and wrist. Extended practice without breaks may lead to injury or RSI (Repetitive Strain Injury). Always take breaks and stretch your hands.
Does my mouse affect my score?
Yes. Gaming mice with lighter switches (like Omron or optical switches) and faster response times can help register clicks more accurately and quickly than standard office mice.
How can I improve my speed?
Practice regularly in short bursts. Try different clicking techniques like Butterfly or Drag clicking. Also, ensuring your hand is warm and relaxed can help improve your muscle response time.
